Welcome to the Titan Transfer web site!
Follow the steps below and use the links running down the right side of the page to logon, link up and complete your transfer experience!

Our transfer process is web-supported. You won't be receiving any printed materials or letters.

Please email us at Titan Transfer or call us at (920) 424-0404 with any questions you may have as you complete your transfer process. We look forward to meeting you when you arrive on campus!

Step 1: Submit your tuition deposit and sign up for advising . . .

After you receive your Admission Letter, return your enrollment deposit along with your completed Intent to Enroll and Advising Options forms (the forms included with your admit letter) to:

Admissions Office
UW Oshkosh
P.O. Box 2423
Oshkosh
WI 54903-2423

Step 2: Access Titan Web to view your Transfer Credit Report . . .

Please open and read "Viewing Transfer Credits in Titan Web" to learn how to access Titan Web and view your Transfer Credit Report. If you have questions, please send an email including your name and student ID# to transfer@uwosh.edu.

Step 3: Activate your UW Oshkosh email account . . .

About one week after the University receives your tuition deposit, your UW Oshkosh email account will be activated and available for your use. Please open and read this important flier describing how to access your UW Oshkosh email account.

You must use your UW Oshkosh email account to complete your transfer experience. Email messages will be sent to your UW Oshkosh email account confirming:

    • the date of your Titan Transfer advising session and
    • the date you may register for classes.

Step 4: Use Titan Web to register for your classes . . .

At UW Oshkosh, students use Titan Web to register for classes. They are assigned registration dates according to the total number of credits they have earned. Enrollment for spring terms begins the October prior, while enrollment for fall terms begins the February prior. Although you may apply for admission well in advance of the start of a given term, you will be eligible to enroll in classes only after these official registration periods are underway.

Use Titan Web to find out when you are eligible to enroll in classes. On or after your assigned registration date, access Titan Web and enroll in classes. If you need assistance please visit our Titan Web "Help How Do I" site or "Contact Us".

Important! ~ Check all enrollment "Messages!"

Titan Web provides you with important messages when you register for your classes. Please be aware of the following "messages" impacting your enrollment:
(1) "Success" - the class you have requested has been added to your schedule;
(2) "Error" - the class you requested has not been added to your schedule. Click on the word "Error" for a detailed explanation of why the class was not added;
(3) "Message" - This is a warning that you have already taken a class equivalent to the one you are attempting to take again. Please be sure you intend to repeat the class and, then, be aware that if you have previously taken the class and earned a grade of "C" or better, this is a violation of the UW Oshkosh Repeat Policy and the class will be administratively dropped from your schedule. If you are dropped from the repeat of a class for this reason, the Registrar's Office will notify you of any schedule changes via your campus email account.

Step 5: If you register for classes before meeting with your academic advisor ...

You may be eligible to enroll in classes before you have the opportunity to attend your Titan Transfer Advising session. If so, you may use your STAR (your official degree audit) available on Titan Web to assist you in selecting appropriate course work.

Before accessing your STAR, please open and read "Star Gazing", an informative flier that will help you read and interpret your STAR.

Print a copy of your STAR and bring it with you when you come to campus for your Titan Transfer advising session.

Step 6: Attend your Titan Transfer advising session . . .

Confirmation of your advising appointment will be sent to you only via your UW Oshkosh email account. If you have questions regarding your Titan Transfer advising appointment or need to reschedule your advising date, please email transferdays@uwosh.edu.

At your Titan Transfer advising session, an academic advisor will help you understand how your prior credits apply to your degree and major at UW Oshkosh and guide you to course options that support your educational goals. If you have already enrolled in classes, the advisor will review your enrollment and talk with you about the course selections you have made.

...We look forward to seeing you!... Parking will be available on Titan Transfer Advising dates. Please plan to arrive on campus at least 20 minutes prior to the start of your advising appointment as daytime parking is at a premium at UW Oshkosh. This will allow you ample time to find a parking space in Lot 13 next to the Kolf Center (see Parking Map), or in the metered slots in the first row of the parking lot across from the Reeve Student Union on Algoma Blvd., or along one of the neighboring residential streets.

Please do not park in a reserved parking spot. Do not park in any spot designated as handicapped unless you have a permit allowing you to do so.

Step 7: Am I required to live on campus?

The Wisconsin Board of Regents' Housing Policy requires those unmarried students with less than 60 credits earned by the first day of classes to reside in the University residence halls. UW Oshkosh also exempts those who (1) are at least 21 years of age or (2) have earned at least 48 credits AND have lived in a residence hall for four semesters. Simply put, most freshmen and sophomores are required to live in the residence halls unless they live within the 45 mile commuter range and are commuting from their parent's/legal guardian's permanent home.

For more information about the UW Oshkosh residence halls, please visit their website at http://housing.uwosh.edu.
