I'm a pretty laid-back person, quiet around people I don't know but very outgoing around my friends. I care a lot for others, which draws me to the medical field. I get along well with most people that I meet. Even though I may seem a bit shy at first, people find that I'm approachable. When it comes to academics I am extremely focused, but I make sure I still have plenty of time to socialize. I also love the outdoors, and I like to play sports or Frisbee in nice weather.

As a Hispanic student at UW Oshkosh, I see the efforts of the Multicultural Retention Programs to support me and help me succeed. I am regularly invited to go to workshops to improve study habits and career opportunities. My experiences at UW Oshkosh have been very pleasant.
