Hometown: Asuncion, Paraguay
Major: Radio/TV/Film

The best part has been the honors classes I've had. The classes are very small and a great opportunity for interaction with teachers and fellow students. Also, the programs organized for honors students - such as a trip to Chicago and Pizza With Professors - have been a blast. I am very happy to be in the program.
Dr. Robert Feldman and Dr. Aaron Dunckel are professors that offer class experiences typical of the honors program; they provide great freedom for classroom discussion, which is my favorite part of being an honors student. Professor Douglas Heil who teaches in my radio-TV-film major, has helped me to better understand and respect my major.
I came to the United States because I have always admired the educational system and the culture. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose UW Oshkosh. Being from Paraguay, I was not 100 percent sure when I arrived here if it was right for me. But soon thereafter I realized, and I remain fully convinced, that this is exactly where I need to be. I hope to work in the television industry behind the cameras, and I would also like to write and produce. I look forward to career opportunities both in the United States and beyond.
