I enjoy my business courses, especially my finance courses. I come from a blue-collar background, so learning how to make my money work for me and getting the most out of it is important. My finance major has taught me a lot. The business program exposed me to many different areas, so I was able to find out exactly where my interests lay.

Ted Balser in Career Services referred me to Peter Jungbacker, who is a local developer. I interviewed Mr. Jungbacker about his profession and the steps he took to start his career. A couple of months later, I became an intern with Mr. Jungbacker's firm and will be working for his firm's capital markets division after I graduate. I am fortunate to work in a field that really interests me and have a job lined up before graduation.
