During my freshman year, Dr. Michelle Michalski recognized my interest in biology and allowed me to do collaborative laboratory research with her on two separate occassions. This would be impossible at larger universities, and it shows how the smaller class size contributes to your education. I would like to go to medical school and pursue a career in public health advising or clinical care; I have always wanted to become a doctor.

If possible, I'd like to join the Navy ROTC program for the medical school tuition and the enlisted experience when I complete medical school. My father was in the Navy, and I have always wanted to enlist.

I am passionate about volunteering, and I like to organize events in addition to holding leadership positions.
